Roberta is currently earning her doctoral degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia. She is also an Instructor of Record in UGA’s Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication, where she teaches students the necessary skills for interviewing and writing in Reporting I - JOUR 3090. Her PhD research focuses on the future of news, digital media and magazines.

Previously, Roberta was Director of Branded Content at Gallery Media Group in NYC, where she produced sponsored content campaigns across PureWow, ONE37pm and the company’s social portfolio. She also served as News Editor during her decade-long tenure at online lifestyle magazine PureWow.

She’s co-author of Royal Trivia: Your Guide to the Modern British Royal Family and was previously co-host of the Royally Obsessed podcast. She currently resides in Atlanta.

She graduated with a journalism degree from the University of Florida honors college and earned her MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business. While at Stern, she was a Graduate Teaching Fellow and focused her Master’s degree in three areas of interest: entrepreneurship, data analytics and entertainment & media.

Outside of work, Roberta is an avid reader, writer and traveler (and lived in Scotland for one year). She’s passionate about volunteering, and previously worked with children at a local Philadelphia school to read at a higher level. While earning her undergraduate degree, Roberta also read news articles over the radio for the visually impaired as part of WUFT Radio’s Reading for the Blind service in Gainesville, Florida.
